Illinois Concealed Carry License Renewal Course

REQUIREMENTS - NO EXCEPTIONS

• Valid FOID card (not expired) 

If your Illinois Concealed Carry License has expired, you can still take this 3-hour renewal course. However, if you renew your CCL after its expiration date, your card will be invalid while your application is being processed.

CURRICULUM

This 3-hour course will cover the following:

• Refresher and changes to the Illinois FOID and CCL Act (if any)
• Range qualification firing at a target 5, 7 and 10 yards away (10 rounds from each distance)

YOU WILL NEED

• Your concealed carry semi-automatic pistol or revolver
• 50 rounds of brass cased factory ammunition (no reloads, steel, aluminum or nickel-plated cased ammo)
• Eye and ear protection
• Appropriate range attire. No open-toed shoes and no low-cut clothing
